We understand that life can get busy and scheduling vet appointments in advance isn’t always possible. That’s why starting April 16th through July 30th, 2025, Dr. Schmunk will be available for walk-in visits every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No appointments needed!

Our experienced team has been providing top-notch veterinary services since 1980. We welcome a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and small farm animals.
Meet Your Walk-In Vet: Dr. Schmunk
Dr. Schmunk was born and raised in Ohio and attended Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife, Tonda, moved to North Carolina and in 1980 he opened his own animal hospital, North Davidson Veterinary Hospital (now Community Veterinary Partners).
His love and care for all types of animals (dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, chickens, goats, pigs, etc.) has earned him clients that travel from out-of-state to his practice. Dr. Schmunk has three children and four grandchildren.
